News from the Executive Principal’s Desk

Dear parents, students, teachers and alumni of Sekolah Ciputra,

Welcome to a brand new school year at Sekolah Ciputra! Whether you are returning or joining us for the first time, we are delighted to have you as part of our community. A new academic year brings with it a sense of possibility—a chance to set goals, build relationships and continue growing as learners and as people.

Our school’s vision is to be a community of lifelong learners who are innovative, entrepreneurial, and internationally-minded. Our mission—to empower students to be confident, resilient, and responsible global citizens—remains at the heart of all we do. These words are not just statements on a wall; they are what guide our decisions, shape our culture, and inspire our aspirations for the year ahead.

A special thank you goes to our business and operations teams who worked tirelessly throughout the holiday to ensure the school is ready to welcome students and staff. Their dedication behind the scenes keeps everything running smoothly, and we are truly grateful.  It is wonderful to see all the different projects and most notably the work on the swimming pool.

Congratulations to our recently graduated G12 students on their fine IBDP results and particularly to Justin Salvatore Sidharta our highest achiever earning an impressive 43 points.  He and the whole cohort are to be commended.

We also want to acknowledge our DBL basketball teams, who trained with discipline and commitment over the break. Their preparation is a great example of how effort and perseverance lay the foundation for success.

As we begin this year together, I encourage every member of our community to take a moment to reflect: What do I want the end of this school year to feel like? Whether it’s a sense of pride in your growth, the joy of new friendships, or the satisfaction of a challenge met, the path begins now.

This year is also particularly important for us as we prepare to welcome visiting teams from both WASC and the IBO for our reaccreditation and reauthorisation visits. These visits are an opportunity to celebrate our strengths, reflect on our progress, and commit to continuous improvement as a world-class IB continuum school.

Let’s begin this school year with positivity, purpose and a shared commitment to excellence.

Have a great week and a great school year!
