Dear Parents, Teachers and Staff,

Good luck to all the Grade 9 students who begin their examinations this week. The exams are an important transition point for the Grade 9’s, marking their entry to the final year of the MYP. The next few weeks are very busy in terms of assessments. Grades’ 3, 6 and 9 students will be completing their second round of MAP testing and Grade 12 are already underway with their final summative assessments. It is important at these times that everyone is familiar with our academic integrity policy and procedures and that these are strictly followed.

We had a very successful PYP assembly on Friday and the High School have an assembly this week. The High School have the finalists for the latest round of Ciputra’s Got Talent, which is scheduled in two weeks’ time. It is incredible how the student leadership teams, StuCo and OSIS have adapted to the changed environment and are still able to provide engaging activities for the student body. On this note, it is also really pleasing to see the wide range of activities being undertaken. We have recently had wonderful service activities being organised and implemented by our students and activities such as Clarissa’s participation in the Yale University Economics discussion. The virtual camps enjoyed by Grades 4 and 5 were yet another example of the creativity being used to help to provide an engaging learning environment. Our students continue to demonstrate that they have the resilience to overcome boundaries and are active engaged members of our Global society.

Have a great week.
