Book week was a wonderful success and a great cross school event. It was nice to see the book sales, the donation of books and the character parade. I enjoyed the theme, curl up with a good book and read, however, the bit that I most enjoyed was seeing our senior students reading to the junior students. The High School students were excellent and really encouraged their peers. Reading every day is one of the most effective ways of building language capacity as well as a love for words, language and literature. Book Week highlights this but please encourage your child to make every week book week!

Congratulations to all the students and staff for the fabulous High School Musical. We have such a breadth of talent within the school and an abundance of creativity. Thank you also to everyone who got out there to support the cast and crew.
