News from the Executive Principal’s Desk

Dear parents, students, teachers and alumni of Sekolah Ciputra,

It has been a truly celebratory week across our school community, highlighted by the outstanding success of our production of Beauty and the Beast. This was a remarkable showcase of talent from students across the continuum, with contributions spanning acting, music, set design, lighting, sound, and backstage support. Productions such as this represent the very best of holistic education, bringing together creativity, collaboration and resilience.

We would like to make special mention of our wonderful parent helpers, who dedicated countless hours to costume design, fittings, as well as hair and make-up. Their commitment and generosity of time were instrumental in bringing the production to life, and their efforts are deeply appreciated. This level of partnership between school and home is a defining strength of Sekolah Ciputra.

We are also extremely proud to share that 20 of our students have qualified to represent Indonesia in the World Mathematics Invitational competition from 10–14 July. This is a significant achievement and a testament to both the hard work of our students and the strength of our mathematics programme. It reflects our commitment to academic excellence and to providing opportunities for students to challenge themselves on an international stage.

Experiential learning has also been a key feature of the week. Our Grade 4 students enjoyed a successful overnight camp at school, while our Grade 5 students participated in their camp at Kaliandra. These experiences support the development of independence, teamwork and resilience, and are an important part of learning beyond the classroom.

Not to be outdone, the grade 6 students enjoyed their induction days in the HS.  This is part of an ongoing programme to ensure that students are properly prepared for this important transition.

On Wednesday 22nd we have the Eagle Sports Awards.  We will celebrate the achievements of all our sporting teams whilst acknowledging the best sports people, coaches and teams.  This is an important part of the sporting calendar, and the quality of the teams and individuals reflects our growing prowess.

In the Early Years, we look forward to celebrating Grandparents Day on the 23rd of April, a special occasion that strengthens the connection between generations and highlights the importance of family within our learning community.

It has been a week that truly reflects the breadth of opportunities available at Sekolah Ciputra and the positive spirit that underpins all that we do.

Have a great week!
