News from the Executive Principal’s Desk

Dear parents, students, teachers and alumni of Sekolah Ciputra,

It has been another full and rewarding week across our school community, with many opportunities for students to demonstrate resilience, leadership and community spirit.

Last week, students in the PYP completed their PAIS and PAT assessments, while our Grade 10 and 11 students concluded their examinations. We congratulate all students for the effort and perseverance they have shown throughout this important assessment period. These experiences help students build not only academic understanding, but also the self-management and reflective skills that are central to the IB learner profile.

Over the weekend, the PYP Ciputra Cup tournament was a wonderful success. Events such as these provide valuable opportunities for teamwork, sportsmanship and participation, and we extend our sincere thanks to the many staff members, coaches and volunteers who generously gave their time to support our students. The positive atmosphere and enthusiastic participation reflected the strong sense of community that continues to define Sekolah Ciputra.  It was lovely to see that we won the tournament and that they also won the sportsmanship award!

One of the highlights of the week was the STUCO assembly, which brought students together in a meaningful and thoughtful way. In particular, the explanation of the significance of Eid Al Adha by two students was especially powerful and closely reflected the spirit of Pancasila Day. Their reflections on sacrifice, compassion, respect and community reinforced the values that unite us as a diverse and harmonious school community. It is always encouraging to see students confidently sharing perspectives that promote understanding and empathy.  Congratulations to Nicole and Brinlee whoo have been elected President and Vice-President of STUCO for 2026-2027.

On Saturday evening, many of our senior students enjoyed the much-anticipated Prom, organised by the STUCO team. This was another excellent example of student leadership and collaboration, and we thank all involved in creating such a memorable event for our students.

Looking ahead, this week will be another significant one. High School students will undertake their PAT and PAIS assessments, while our Grade 11 students participate in their Group 4 Science Days, an important collaborative experience within the IB Diploma Programme. Most importantly, we eagerly anticipate the Grade 12 Final Assembly and their formal Graduation Ceremony, where we will celebrate the achievements and contributions of the Class of 2026 as they prepare to begin the next stage of their journey.  On Tuesday we will announce the Eagle’s Cup winner-awarded to the top house across the continuum and always a hard-fought trophy.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and partnership.
