News from the Executive Principal’s Desk

Dear students, staff, parents, alumni and the whole Sekolah Ciputra community,

Welcome to the penultimate week of the term. Congratulations to all the students who have just completed examinations or final summative tasks over the past week. The key to improvement is to clarify the information you get from the summative results.  Students need to focus upon the areas in which they can improve. This involves being able to ask staff for their feedback, guidance and advice. A session spent dissecting an assessment is time very well spent and helps avoid making the same mistake twice. Summative results this week will be followed by reports later next week and lastly parent teacher conferences on Friday.

Congratulations also to the PSG who held another very successful workshop on Friday morning and to our girls’ volleyball team who travelled to Bali for a tournament. The WSC team returned from Yale with wonderful experiences as well as some amazing results. Watch out for our Instagram stories on some incredible efforts.

This Wednesday staff photographs will be taken for the G12 yearbook. The fact that this is happening should be a reminder of how little time the G12s have before their mock and final examinations followed by their graduation. Now is a very good time to make a serious effort at improving performance.  Again, help is readily available.

Finally, well done to the grade 4 students who capped off their recent unit of inquiry with a wonderful assembly focussed on one of our key values-entrepreneurship. We look forward to your continued development in this area.

Have a great week.
