“One of the best things about Sekolah Ciputra is the small class size; more opportunities to engage with the teacher.”
ZERRIN ZERONA INDRADEWI
GRADUATED: 2018
1. How long were you in Sekolah Ciputra? Starting from what grade until what grade?
I began my education at Sekolah Ciputra in elementary school. After completing those years, I moved to Jakarta for 4 years before returning to finish the last 2 years of high school. In total, I spent 8 years as a student at Sekolah Ciputra.
2. After graduating from Sekolah Ciputra, where do you study? What is your major?
-Universitas Kristen Petra, Major: Communication Science (Bachelor’s Degree).
-Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU), Major: Global Marketing Management (Master’s Degree).
-De Montfort University, Major: Global Marketing Management (Master’s Degree).
3. What did you do after graduating from university?
While completing my Bachelor’s degree, I actively sought out experiences and internships in social media, one of which was at Ruangguru. However, I soon realized my interest in exploring digital marketing and project managing on a broader scale. This led me to pursue a dual-degree Master’s program, where I gained deeper insight into global marketing strategies.
4. What is your current occupation?
I’m an Account Executive at CDL Agency, working with both local and international clients. My role involves managing communication between clients and internal teams, while ensuring the delivery and consistency of high-quality digital marketing outputs for various brands.
5. In what way did Sekolah Ciputra contribute to your job right now?
My early education at Sekolah Ciputra laid a strong foundation in critical thinking and open-mindedness. The development programs and curriculum during my elementary years played a key role in shaping not only my professional capabilities but also my personal growth. Additionally, the school environment allowed me to fully develop my English proficiency, a crucial skill for thriving in today’s global career landscape.
6. What was the best thing about Sekolah Ciputra? Tell us something memorable from your time at Sekolah Ciputra
One of the best things about Sekolah Ciputra, in my opinion, is the small class size. With fewer students per class, each of us had more opportunities to engage with the teacher, which allowed for better focus and a deeper understanding of the lessons.
Sekolah Ciputra also places strong support on the arts—not just in visual and applied arts, but also in the performing arts. One of my most memorable experiences was playing Sharpay in our school production of High School Musical. It was a full student-led production, from cast to crew, and working together to bring it to life was incredibly fun and rewarding.
7. What advice would you give to a graduating student?
Graduating high school might feel like the end of an era—but really, it’s just the beginning. There’s a whole world out there to explore, and you don’t need to fit into the mold that society sets for you. Embrace the journey, stay curious, and carve out your own path.
8. Would you recommend Sekolah Ciputra to others? If yes, what would you say about it?
I would highly recommend Sekolah Ciputra to parents who want to prepare their children for an increasingly globalized world. With technology playing such a major role in our lives, early exposure to it, combined with a globally-minded education, can greatly benefit their development and future success.
9. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I have a variety of hobbies that keep me busy in my free time. I enjoy doing yoga, especially with friends and local communities. I also love exploring new cafes around town. Lately, I’ve been trying my hand at content creation—just seeing where it takes me!
